No go with any tool suppliers so got this chisel set off ebay…

Figuring out what I want and what can get away with. A set of Starrett radius gauges helped me figure out the radii for the tool grinding.

Machined, stamped, hardened & tempered (to suit: 3/32″, 1/8″ & 5/32″ diameter shank rivets)

~§~

Tried the “heat and hammer a ball bearing in” method, it just made a mess.

~§~

Anvil end. 2 snaps (one used as a hold-up) & a set for each size.

Emery roll dispenser

Made out of scraps around the workshop: 4mm & 6mm plywood, 10x26mm pine, 4mm rosewood dowels, stainless steel sheet, mild steel pins, nylon 66, brass rivets with a linseed oil finish…

Nylon feed rollers.

Sprung cams trap the emery, but allow it to be pulled out easily

Lids are hinged for refills…

Now fitted with the added possibility of a tea shelf…
