Required some re-forging, shaping, polishing, hardening, tempering, pickling, re-polishing & stropping

Reverse bevel straight gouge

From double bevel; (as with all others) required shaping, polishing, hardening, tempering, pickling, re-polishing & stropping

Reverse bevel straight gouge for doing inside socket of mortise gauge (for example)

Diamond hone for soles

Newly turned handles and ferrules. Danish oiled & waxed.

Shaped a slip stone for carving chisels including “V” gouges

No go with any tool suppliers so got this chisel set off ebay…

Annealed.

Figuring out what I want and what can get away with. A set of Starrett radius gauges helped me figure out the radii for the tool grinding.

Machined, stamped, hardened & tempered (to suit: 3/32″, 1/8″ & 5/32″ diameter shank rivets)

Tried the “heat and hammer a ball bearing in” method, it just made a mess.

Anvil end. 2 snaps (one used as a hold-up) & a set for each size.
